A Korean Foodie

Korean food varies between healthy bimbimbap (similar to a western buddha bowl) to fried chicken (piled high with only pickles as a side dish) and genius street food (my favourites being potato dogs, grilled lobster and cheese and Oreo churros). They are mad on meat here, a lot of Korean BBQs and fried chicken restaurants have a fixed price that allows you to eat as much as you physically can with hardly a side dish. It's meat with a side of meat. Not ideal for the vegetarians. And if you ask for a vegetarian, you may still get barbecued pork with your dish. But kimchi and pickled radish is what really rules your diet here. There is plenty of international foods, but it's better to spend your money on something authentic (and without fake American cheese as a replacement for some good cheddar- my only real grievance)
